Natisha “Tish” Snyder

Tell us about yourself: I am an accountant for a Worker’s Comp Insurance Company. I have been married for 22 years and have 2 sons, 20 and 18.   I enjoy traveling, reading, learning, and trying new things. I am developing a “love” for CrossFit.  My body and mind miss the physical exertion and camaraderie when I can’t attend.

What brought you to POFP CrossFit? I began with Physical Therapy at Penn-Ohio Rehabilitation after back surgery. I continued with the AFTER Program and started with POFP CrossFit after encouragement from the Penn-Ohio Staff.

What is your most memorable moment? Mastering the proper squat position; took a lot of instruction and practice to “get the butt back.”

If you could design a WOD…what would it be?
For time:
Cash In- Lincoln Run (400 m)
3 Rounds of:
5 Deadlifts
10 Knees to Elbows
15 AbMat SitUps
20 Air Squats
Cash Out- Lincoln Run (400 m)

How has CrossFit changed your life? I am stronger and in better shape at 45 after 2 back surgeries than I was in my 20s and 30s.  The confidence and strength I have gained learning the skills and developing proper form have carried over into every aspect of my life.

Do you have any advice for people interested or just starting at POFP? Give it a try. Every movement can be modified for your ability. The staff and other participants are welcoming and encouraging. If I can do it, SO CAN YOU!
